I don’t understand HELP. Why is it everything i read Says HDMI 1.4 was released on May 28, 2009 that includes Ethernet Can reach up to 144hz AND the 1.3 has a max of 120hz ?>?? is this Wrong because i’m finding this info EVERYWERE not just 1 source …. BTW the HDMI is (ROCKET FISH) if that makes a difference someone said rocket fish was the only brand back in 2009ish that could reach 120-144hz ?? help me im geek ing out lol Thank you
I don’t tend to play as many fast respocne games besides I don’t think it matters much when your piloting a 100 ton war machine in Mechwarrior online besides art looks better in full screen
I was looking at cheaper monitors around 100$, would they still surpass my 55″ Samsung TV?
my LCD tv has 120ms. xD monitor is advertised as 1ms. just know it faster then my tv lol
I would use a TV and I use a Laptop Screen
guys am i right in thinking that if i buy a 120 hz monitor and lock some games like pubg g at 60 frames, i wont get screen tare or stutter
Do this again with 4K HDR true 120hz tv’s with 11ms response times.
Damn when Linus roasts console players
What if you have a tv and monitor linked onto a dual screen
Voice crake
2:47 Linus hits puberty
I discovered that on my 40″ 4k smart TV (samsung MU6300) there is a PC mode feature. It is enabled automatically or manually by tagging your source input as PC. It eliminates any lag, if i had to guess it is below 10ms because I cannot tell a difference between my monitor (4ms) and my 4k TV when it comes to response time. Not sure if other TV’s have this feature, but it is not advertised at all and is way better than game mode (for PC only) it appears to bypass almost all the processing on the TV end, you can only fine tune your standard color options and active contrast. This is just $600 at walmart, nothing overly fancy at all.
how about a PCle connection istead of hdmi 2.0…
^^^godspeed display^^^
tv got same pixels but the pixels are huge but a monitor is smaller and the pixels are more compact ,
if ur sitting the same distance from both the monitor looks way sharper
Thanks for the information, I had been wondering the answer to this question. And thanks for the laughs at the beginning. Hahahahaha

I Owen that tv!
TV is great . I think so
I like that every reviewer talks about 144 hz vs 120hz , but noone is talking about how much the gpus has to push when a monitor is 120 , 140 hz … etc or 2k , 4k …
I don’t play competitive shooters, not my cup of tea so a big tv is a better investment for me.
o is it only 3d at 120hz ? that’s how they get away with lieing to us ?
Hp laptop monitor
do any monitors support component or composite in case you want to do gameplays on older consoles?
I use a 32″ JVC tv and I don’t really give a shit about not using a monitor. (I use pc and PS4 on it)
Can monitors play tv channels etc?
I just want to know if I should stay with my PlayStation or get a pc. I want to enjoy playing my videogames more. Can someone tell me which I should get to enjoy playing more? Or is it even worth it?
I use my tv as a monitor mainly because I love slow-paced games and holy moly, you can appreciate the scenery much but I also use my monitor sometimes
Does tv makes fps better?
