The Sony A1E OLED TV was easily one of the most talked about TVs of the year. Looking at the TV from the front, it becomes apparent why the easel style stand is in place. There is no gap between the bottom of the TV and the entertainment stand — all you see is the screen. Sony was intentional in its design of the Sony A1E OLED TV, wanting it to be a form of art as well as a TV.

At first glance, there does not appear to be any speakers. That is because the screen is the speakers with Sony’s acoustic surface technology. On the left and right sides of the screen, there are actuators connected to the panel. When the actuators vibrate so does the panel resulting in sound. There is not much bass with this setup, which is why there is a subwoofer on the back of the TV.

You really can’t go wrong with the Sony A1E OLED 4K TV; it has stunning image quality with a innovative, modern design.

The tv is okay but I will stick with the C7

I have a question for OLED fans out there. How do you like your ridiculous image retention and susceptible burn in, that is not warranted by LG and Sony? Before you say anything about OLED not burning in. I owned two C7’s before I called LG on their BS. OLED does burn in. It took my C7 a day for the speakers to go out of sync. The replacement burned in after two days. OLED is a joke. I thought I was making a great investment, but had no peace of mind with a overrated TV. If you are curious with what I traded it for. I traded it for QLED, that is proven burn in proof. I got money back and a $50 gift card. Samsung continues to own the market. xD

Amazing TV. Glad Sony went with LG for the panels.

Andrew Clement says:

It’s fine, but not as good as the C7. I don’t like the slant, Its cool to see “speakers” in the tv, however, it’s just another thing to break and harder to get fixed. If you’re a gamer, the C7 is a better option with a much lower latency. For the price difference, the C7 is better.

Paul Bielen says:

And how is the customer service if there are issues with the tv even in warranty? Not too good if you review quality service as well as performance when new.

Zorastorm 32 says:

Awesome video! I’m trying to figure out what Oled to get This winter.

I still have the LG Eg9600

CrashAlw7sh says:

Muhammad Saleh says:

Can it be wall mounted?
